Reflections of the past year........

Hey all,

I was just sitting here thinking about the last year, and the girls and I have had a few ups and downs.

The girls and I have been on our own for a year now. This time last year, was a rough time, for the girls especially as there father moved out. I was the one that had to tell them, which made it worse, cause they asked him what he was doing and he never told them. I had depression and even had anxiety attacks, so the poor girls had to see that as well. It wasn't fair on them. There world as they knew it had fallen apart.

It took awhile but we slowly, worked on how to make things better. The girls and I grew so much closer, which I absolutely love. Jasmine, never use to be good at talking about her problems and would keep everything bottled up, but now she talks to me about things, whether it be big or small. There are times she will still hold things back, and I let her know when she is ready to talk I am here. She also started high school this year, and her grades have gotten so much better, she studies and even likes reading now. She tried out for the school production and got a part, so she was in the Little Shop of Horror Production, and is in the school Choir. She really loves to sing. Jasmine has even started drawing again, and her artwork looks great. I think it really helped when we went to the Tim Burton Expo, and seeing his earlier drawings, and what he was able to achieve but practicing.

Anabell, is still Anabell, loves everyone and forgives very easy. She also went through a few things at school. Started having nightmares, but I am happy to say that she no longer has them. She is a lot more clingy to me, than ever before, but I am hoping that will slowly, settle down. She has always been a cuddly girl (with me), but she always needs to know where I am now.

I have met the most wonderful man, he has been there through the ups and downs and helped us in so many ways. The girls love him and he loves them too, which is very important.

The girls and I are in the planning process, to move to the states. We cannot wait till all the paperwork is in order, and we then can set off, and begin our new life. There is so much too look forward too.

We still have our up and downs, as most families do, but we are so much happier and more secure than we were.

I am so proud of my girls and what they have achieved, and how much they have grown. They are both 2 beautiful girls. Love you both with all my heart. xxx

I have started making my Christmas cards, so I will take a pic soon and upload them.

P.S. I have also signed up for the Kim Archer Christmas 2010 Workshop. I have missed signing up for her classes, so I am looking forward to getting some xmas stuff done. If you haven't seen her workshops before make sure you head over to her site and have a look around. She is also on Facebook.
