Xmas Carols night and more.......

Back again,

I needed to finish updating my blog. As it would have been way to much to add into the last post.

* I had a lovely lunch with Cindy and Kade on Friday. Kade had his photo with Santa too. I loved his facial expressions.

* Found out on Friday arvo that my mum and dad are back together, and have bought a house in Gympie.

* My younger had a scare with Breast Cancer. Glad to here that all is ok and it wasn't cancer.

* I only have 1 more layby to pick up from Big W. As it is DS Lites I want to keep them on a little longer. I will probably pick them up on Thursday. Have to make sure they work before wrapping them.

* Jasmine is heading off to the Clayton Monash Hospital on Thursday the 18th, as her school choir group will be singing there. I'm hoping I can also jump onto the bus as well, saves me driving there.

* Scrapbook Creations want another LO, so from never having anything published I am going to have 2 in issue 64 (Animal Gallery) and 1 in Issue 66 (Running Circle Gallery).

* I won a $15 voucher in a sketch comp, the LO was called Dream.

* Friday night Anabell had a friend sleep over. They had a great time and played Buzz on playstation.

* Yesterday (Sat), Anabell decided to clean her room. She has thrown away so much. Ready for xmas. LOL gotta love that.

* On the 10th, the girls had there school Christmas Carols Night. Here are a couple of pics of them. I even managed to get one of Rik to his disgust......LOL

* Jasmine has been diagnosed with what is called Sever's Disease. Not serious, but she can't do any sports for awhile until it heals. So no Kick Boxing, running, jumping on the tramp, nothing. She is not allowed to wear flat shoes either. Jasmine has told me that when she walks she feels like a popping feeling is happening in her heel, so I bought her a brace to support her heel. So far it is working. I am figuring it is the tendon moving around in her heel and that is the popping sensation she is feeling.

Sever's disease occurs in children when the growth plate (which is the growing part of the heel) is injured. The foot is one of the first body parts to grow to full size. This usually occurs in early puberty. During this time, bones often grow faster than muscles and tendons. As a result, muscles and tendons become tight. The heel area is less flexible. During weight-bearing activity (activity performed while standing), the tight heel tendons may put too much pressure at the back of the heel (where the Achilles tendon attaches).

Well thats all I think for the moment. Can't think of anything else.
