Birthday's and LO's

Hi all,

I have been feeling pretty bad lately, with all the bush fires happening. So many lost lives, homes and animals.

It is all just horrible and devastating. I feel for all involved. I don't know anyone personally, that have been affected by the fires, but friends of mine have.
I have tried to do my part to help, with donations.

You are all in my thoughts.

The girls school had a free dress, and donation day last Friday for the bush fire appeal.

First day of school 2009

Today, was the first day of school for Jasmine and Anabell. They are now in grade 6 and 4. They both told me that they had lots of fun and they like there teachers.

Jasmines teacher Mrs H, sent all the kids in class a post card over the school holidays. i thought that that was a lovely thing to do. Jasmine also loved the fact that she got some mail.

So here are the girls in there uniform ready for school this morning.

Jasmine grade 6

Anabell grade 4

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have also finished 2 more LO's and a card.
The first is one of Miss S and her big sister Miss T. I took these photos one day while they wre here visiting.
It feels really strange to black out there faces. I nearly wasn't even going to show you the LO because it didn't feel right blacking out there faces. But I did it so here it is.
PS....Miss S is turning 1 this month
MELTING MOMENTS
Products Used: CS, PP - Scenic Route, October Afternoon, Cosmo Cricket, HS - Alphas, Ink, Buttons, AL Stamp, Brads, Felt and 5 kids and a dog laser cut CS.
And here is a card that I have made out of the scraps.
The second Lo was done for the Forever Always True Blue Aussie Scrapping Comp.
It's not to late to join in in you want. No-one gets eliminated, but there are prizes.
Round 1.....
To complete a layout using this sketch, but you must include this criteria.
1. Transparency (this resembles our wonderful water that surrounds our precious home Australia)
2. White background - (this resembles the standard Aussie Icon ZINC - no nipper would be caught on the beach without it)
3. Lot's of bright colours (show us the barrier reef colours - it is afterall the eighth wonder of the world)
This is my interpretation..........
BELLS BEACH
Products Used: CS, ink, fancy pants glitter cut, cuttlebug, labeller, Pink Paislee alpha stickers, prima bling swirl and kindy glitz.
The LO is much brighter IRL, it didn't show up very well in the scan. The photos are of Jasmine when she was 3 years old. She looks so little and cute.
I can't believe she will be turning 12 this year.
Make sure you check out the last 2 posts as they are some projects that Jasmine and Anabell has done for the Fiskars comp.
Fiskars School Children Challenge (Jasmine)
Hi all,
Today I want to show you Jasmines creations, that she has done for the Fiskars comp.
Jasmine finished 3 out of the 5. Jasmine did very well to get these all done as she has spent alot of time with her friends, and also she is a slow scrapper like me.
Challenge #2
Layout - any theme
Jazzy decided to do this LO about when we went to the RSPCA and found Buster, and how he felt when he was there and how he felt when he came to his new home.
Challenge #4
Create Whatever you want (but you must use 2 fiskars tools and some journalling)
Challenge #5
Create an "all about me" LO
I love this photo of Jasmine.
Well done Jasmine, Love all your creations.
