Tagged.........

Hi all,

I have been tagged by Sonia.

This is how it works.

1. Go to the section of your computer where you store all of your photos.
2. Select the 6th folder.
3. Select the 6th photo from that folder.
4. Post and explain about that picture.
5. Tag 6 other people.

So here is my picture....

This is a quilled card that I made awhile ago. I gave this card to Cindy, when she was not feeling well, we just wanted to let her know we were thinking of her.

I have also included a photo of the front of the card as well, so you can see it better.

Now to tag 6 others.

  1. Cindy
  2. Wendy
  3. Leeanne
  4. Karen
  5. Scrapwitch
  6. Kayla

Have fun girls and can't wait to see your pic.

100th Post

Hi all,

This is my 100th post, since I started blogging. Yeah for me........LOL

Firstly....... School stuff is now all sorted, finished getting the rest of it yesterday.

Jasmine and a friend of hers were doing house swapping last week, we started feeling like yoyos. They had heaps of fun, and H started scrapping. She wanted to learn a little before school started, as in year 6 they do a scrapbook album of there time at primary school.

We last weekend went to Frankston and checked out all that is happening at the foreshore. Rik and the girls went for a paddle on the canoes.

Jazzy was even game enough to go into the Karate expo and have a go at learning the blocking and defensive moves. I was very proud of her as she is not one for trying new things in front of many people. GO JAZZY

We have also been to Skate world, this week.
And last night Anabells friend had a sleep over.

Hi all,

Since my last post, I had the brake booster replaced in my Torana. I really didn't realize how bad it was until the new one was put in.

Yesterday was nice and hot. LOL
We stayed inside until about 6ish last night when we went over to a friends for dinner. We then decided to head down to the Frankston beach so the kids could have a swim.

Today is another hot day, so I think I will be doing some scrapping.

That's all for now

Happy Birthday to Me........

Hi,

Yesterday was my 34th birthday.

I had a great day. Thank you to all that emailed, text and called me. It made my day. Thank you very much to my sister Sonia, it meant the world to me that you remembered, but it was still hard not getting a call from my brother, normally he was pretty much the only one in my family to call or text.

So the day yesterday started with coffee and eggs on toast, in bed for breakfast, and presents.

There is another present coming but they didn't have any in stock so I have to wait till I think it was about Wednesday. I really love the turtle Charm that the girls picked out for me. My charm bracelet is slowly filling up.

And how call does my Frankenstein Keyring look. It is suppose to be a Watchover Voodoo Doll, and the Frankenstein is suppose to stop bad things being thought about you and improve your thoughts about others.

Phone call and replying to text messages.

At about 11am, a lady arrived to deliver this beautiful bunch of flowers for me. Once again Bek, your flower arrangement looks beautiful.

We then went to see Bedtime Stories. It was a pretty good movie.
We then had lunch out, I had a vegetarian Satay fried rice. It was yum.

We then came home and have a relaxing afternoon.

We headed of to Fratelli's for dinner with J, D and Miss S. It was a great meal. I had a couple of Cocktails, and a few laughs.

J, bought me this Begoth Doll. D paid for the whole dinner. And Miss S game me one of her very big smiles, but then again I get them every time I see her.

After dinner we headed round to there house and had a few drinks and some more laughs.

So, I felt really special, and had a fantastic day. Thanks everyone.

New Trampoline

HI all,

Tuesday night I took my friend J up to the hospital as, she keeps getting what she thinks are bad migraines. But this one was the worst of them all. She couldn't even talk, you could she she wanted to say something but no words would come out. I even had to help her put her shoes on. We arrived at the hospital at about 7:30 pm and finally came home at 2:30am in the morning. None the wiser on why or what is happening.

But while at the hospital, another friend and her daughter were there as they had been in a car accident. The daughter Miss M had her appendix removed a week ago and with the accident, she was in a lot of pain, so they were worried that the internal stitches had popped. I didn't see them again so still none the wiser in how she is going. Hoping all is well.

Also I say a parent from school up there too. It was better news as there little bundle of joy was born. A healthy baby girl. Congrats P and S.

And to Cindy, I am so hoping that things get better for you very soon too. Thinking of you lots.

****************************************************
Wednesday, Rik had half a day off work, so we headed up to K-mart and pick up a lay-by. It was the tramp. The girls needed a new one.
Gee.......these round ones take forever to put up. LOL
The girls had fun helping Rik.
I feel really sorry for Jas though, as she still isn't allowed to any sort of sport, jumping, due to the Severs Disease. We last week tried going for a bike ride and within about 15 min Jas was in a lot of pain again. Hoping her tendon hurries up and grows properly soon.

Anabell and Jasmine have finished a couple of the challenges for the Fiskars comp. If you have kiddies and are into scrapping head on over and check out the criteria. It's a bit of fun for them and gives them something to do.

I will show you the girls projects once they finish them all.

**********************************************

Lastly, I have finished another OTP. Here is my bird house. Had heaps of fun doing this one.

And a couple of close ups.

Products Used: Scrapware Birdhouse and Accessories. pp - Scenic Route and October Afternoon.
Others: Kindy Glitz, Distress Ink, Kaiser Rhinestones, Chalk Ink, DM, and Doodle Bug Crushed Velvet Flock.
I think that's all
Take care all

Sand sculptures and a catch up.

Hi all,

Hope everyone had a great Christmas, and a happy new year.
Well we had a great xmas. Lots of pressies and food. LOL
A few friends came round for chrissy dinner and a few drinks. It all in all was a pretty relaxing day. Rink cooked the Chicken and pork in the hooded barbie. So for the first time I had it easy. Just had to finish off the salads and cook the vegies.
And Miss S looked super cute in her elf dress.

Here is a card that I had to make for a friend to give to her step daughter.

***********************************************
We also had a pretty quiet new years eve. Had dinner with friends (more food) and a few drinks.
Apart from that we have just been taking it easy. Going to barbies, that sort of stuff.

***********************************************
Yesterday, I decided to decorate my diary for this year and also alter my ideas book. My first crafty items for 2009.

Products Used for the Diary: Pink Paislee - pp's, Top Siders, Rub-ons and alpha stickers. Kaiser - Rhinestones. Others - Ribbon, Distress Ink, Kindy Glitz and a Metal Charm.
Products Used for the Ideas Book: Basic Grey - pp's and Elements Stickers. Kaiser - Rhinestones. Craft Affair - Pearl Brad. Colorbok - Journal Stax. Others - Flowers, Cuttlebug and Treading Water Punch.

Today we went into Frankston and visited the Dino Sand Sculpting. Here are a few photos of the dinos. It was ok.
The girls enjoyed it and even had a play with the sand and did the activities as well.
We then headed over to Sofias for a late lunch. We ordered a seafood meal that was big enough for us all to share and then had an ice-cream.

I think I will leave it here for today.
