Some Layouts......

Last Friday I Met Carlie, had a few cuppas and chatted lots. I bought some goodies. And also got a little pack to play with. I have done 2 LO's so far for Scrapfever, and they are up on the gallery in the website.

The postie was also nice to me last week, as he delivered my cuttlebug embossing folders.....YEAH. Now I need to have a play with them. I have 6 new ones to play with.

This Next LO is a for a sketch comp on 123 Scrapbook.

Sketch Challenge

As part of my new DT roll, I need to design a sketch on a rotating roster with Jolene the other DT girl.

Carlie from Scrapfever has put up the sketch that I have designed onto the website now. You have until the 24th June to send in your version of the sketch to be in the running for a $10 Scrap Fever Voucher.

I have done lots of layouts using sketches from other scrappers, but I have never designed a sketch for anyone else to use.

Here is the Sketch and my example.

In other news.........

I have been helping a Friend J look after her 2 daughters T and S, as the back injury is in fact a prolapsed Disc. So all in all I have been a yo yo. It's hard looking after 2 houses everyday. But the good news is she is feeling heaps better, but still can't drive so I will still be picking up T and taking her to school and also taking her home from school for the next week anyway.

We aren't sure new if Jasmine has vertigo or not now as the school didn't give me all the info of her passing out, on the day that it happened. So we are off for tests on Monday.

Went and had lunch with Wendy and Karen on Friday. I had a Spinach and Brie Filo with salad, yum. It was Karen's Birthday so I made this card for her and also bought some flowers too.

Saturday, I headed off to Connie's for the Stampín Up Party. We all made a make and take. I Bought a fer things also. HEHE

Today...........I cleaned the house, washing. Boring, but it needed to be done. I have also nearly finished a layout.

Well I better head off and put dinner in the oven.

Design Team...........

Last night I received a call from Carlie at Scrap Fever, to let me know that I had made it. I am now on a design team........YEAH. I am so excited.

Today, well this is the first time I have sat down all day.

I went to Karingal to have coffee with a friend J ( I look after her cute little baby S, that Wendy and Karen met last week when we had a coffee.) Well when J took the pram out of the car her back went on her. I ended up having to call ambulance and her partner as she couldn't move. So, I am looking after her little ANGEL S. I also went into her work and let them know she wouldn't be in tomorrow. We aren't sure yet if it is a slip disc, or a nerve or it could be a back spasm.

When I thought ok now home we go........NOT, I get a call from the school, so off I go with S (3 months old) to the school. Jasmine decided to pass out and was still dissy when I got there so I took her to the doc's and found out that Jasmine has vertigo. It is very rare for a child to get vertigo, normally only happens to adults. So no school for Jasmine for the rest of the week. Bed rest, is what she needs to fix it.

Well I better head off now as Miss S is going to wake up soon, and I need to pick up Anabell and J's daughter from school in just over an hour.

I need to catch up soon with all the blogs very soon, I will get there lol.

Weekend Ramblings.......

Hi all,

I went to the Picture to Page Show on Saturday. The highlight of the day was catching up with some of the PD Thursday Morning Coffee Girls, and Wendy. I bought a few things while I was there, as well. LOL

On Sunday, we decided to take the girls to there old school as we had ordered a brick with there names on it earlier in the year, last year. We found out that they finally had them made and put into the path.

We had a yummy dinner. Paprika Chicken in the slow cooker.

The girls aren't at school today as there is a curriculum day today.

Here are a couple of layouts that I did on the weekend as well.

Busy, Busy, Busy

Hi everyone,

It's been a long time since my last post.

So what have I been up to in the last month.

I am looking after the most angelic 2 month old girl 2 days a week. I look at her and want another baby. No, not having more but I always get clucky with little ones.

Then I found out last week that a friend is also pregnant. Yeah another baby to drool over......lol
Congrats Tom and Suzie.

The girls have started back at Auskick, sitting out in the cold on Fridays again.

My dad rang me the other night. I haven't spoken to him for a few months, so it was really good to catch up with him. He is doing ok. Hope to see him soon.

Rick's younger brother is coming down from N.S.W in a few weeks. He is now 21, and the last time I saw him he was 9. It's going to be weird seeing him again, but great.

I didn't have my comp for a while has it was in being reformatted and updated. They were suppose to save all my files and put them back onto the comp when they had finished, but guess what, not one photo was put back on. I am so lucky that I had backed up all my photos. I will never trust this company ever again. I have lost everyones email addy's, so if you don't get any emails from me it cause of that.
To top it all off they didn't put norton back onto my comp when I asked them to do that, so when I got home and installed it myself there was a virus on it. I was so mad, but I finally removed it myself.

I have a few layouts to share but I can't be bothered to scan them just yet. But here is a few things that I have done.







Well I think thats about it for the moment. Off to do some scrapping.
