Mark Cvetkovic
6th April 1984 - 1st September 2007
Mark was was out riding his bike last Friday night at 9:10pm, and a man in a Ute hit him. The Ute driver kept driving, but apparently 10mins later he came back to check if my brother had gotten up.
No he hadn't. He was unconscious and had a severe leg laceration and as we found out the main artery in that leg was severed, Mark lost alot of blood, but he also had internal injuries.
Mark was taken into surgery at 11pm on Friday night and had his spleen removed and other organs fixed. His liver had been torn very badly. The doctors thought that they would give Marks b0dy a rest from being operated on so they put him into an induced coma because they left him open for later. They also wanted to try and get Mark's liver to stop bleeding.
Now at 4:30am on Saturday the 1st Sept, we are hoping he is going to make it. But at a little before 5am my sister Sonia rang and told me that Mark had gone. He had lost to much blood.
My little brother aged 23 is no longer here. He died on the same day as our grandad did, and died about the time that I was born.

Mark was very protective over both the girls. I sometimes thought that he loved them like they were his own. He loved playing with them and never minded when they invaded his room.
Mark loved kids. I remember a time when he was real sad and said that he was scared that he wouldn't find the right girl to settle down with and have kids of his own, this was about when he was 20.
Mark was a beautiful person, caring and loving. I am so lucky to have had a brother like Mark, and I will miss him very much. Mark has always been the one person in my family I could talk to about anything and everything.
To everyone reading this post if you have made it all the way to here. I would like to thank everyone that has left a message on the last post and to those who have sent me emails.
I would also like to say a big thank you to my sister Sonia for ringing me and letting me know about my brother and keeping me informed the whole night. Otherwise I wouldn't have known until, I don't know when.
And also a big thank you to Rick's family for also caring.
I am going to Brisbane on Thursday, I'm not sure when the funeral is just yet as reports have to be done. And police are still investigating the accident.
