Exploding Box and More

Yesterday the girls and I didn't do to much. We took Buster for a walk and the girls had a bit of a play in the school playground, with all the new equipment that we now have.

I also made my first Exploding Box. I am very happy with the way it turned out.
It was made for Wendy as she has been a great friend and as been there for me in the last month.

So a very big thank you Wendy.

The girls also had a big bubble bath. They wanted lots of bubbles so I turned on the spa to make more.

Today, I stayed in my pj's till about 10:30 when I decided that we would go and visit Wendy at Paperdoll and give her the Exploding Box. Jasmine and Anabell took some stuff to do, so Wendy and I had a cuppa and a chat.

I bought some more versa magic chalk inks (love them) and a couple of other things.

We then went to Frankston and the girls spent there birthday money from grandma and pop. And I had to get some items from safeway to make Curry Sausages for dinner.

Then when we came home we had some lunch, and then I finished of another LO.

Products Used: Fancy Pants pp, Rhonna Farrer pp, Hambly Rub-ons, Petaloo, BG Rub-on, 7 Gypsies Journel Box, Scraplet, Prima Ribbon, Jewel Brad, Buttons.

Products Used: Prima pp - Lucid Collection, Hambly Rub-on, Hambly - Urban Chic Frame, and lots of Brads.

Spent sometime with the girls.

I probably should head of now as I really should get a start on dinner as it takes awhile.

Have a lovely Wednesday

Flowers, School Production, and a LO

Well lets see, just trying to think about what has happened since last Friday.

These are the flowers that Meryl gave me last week. As I said in the last post, I had to use 4 vases. That was last Thursday. The flowers are all still ok and its now a week later.

On Wednesday night Jasmine and Anabel's school (Overport) had there yearly school production. I helped out backstage with getting the kids into there costumes and make-up.

This year the production was called Secret Treasure.

Some of the teachers and there partners write the play, write the songs and compose the music.

Anabell was a zoo animal this year. A dolphin. The costumes were donated by the Frankston Toy Library.

How cute does her tail look

Jasmine was a bowling pin. They even on stage were lined up like the way bowling pins are and some one was bowling and knocking them down, while they where singing there song 'Poor Pins'.

I finished a LO for the LO Comp at Paperdoll. It had to incorporate ribbon.

And I have also finished another LO for my N.Z. holiday album. This is one of Marion my Mother-in-law. She had to keep a secret from Alan (father-in-law) that we were going to N.Z. It was just a relief when we arrived as she didn't have that secret anymore.

Products Used: BG pp-Periphery, BG die shape tag, BG Rub-ons - Periphery, BG Fiber - Infuse, Heidi Swapp XL Ghost Clock, Scrap FX Arrow, Versa Magic - Chalk Ink, American Crafts Foam Thickers, Scrapworks - Rub-on Alphas and Prima Marketing Crystals.

Thats it from me for now
Take care

I'm Home.......

and surrounded by love from my family and friends.

As you all know, I went to Brisbane last Thursday, to say farewell to my brother (it's never goodbye). But, it really didn't hit me until I saw him. Things were made harder by the fact that my mother made my time in Brisbane even harder than what it should have been. Family's are suppose to come closer together when someone has gone, but not in mine. I was told that it shouldn't have been Mark that died, among other things. But I won't go into all that.

While I was there I meet my sister Nikol's 2 boys, Tramain 6 and Dallas 1 1/2. They are both beautiful and they didn't want me to leave. Tramain even asked if I could take him home with me.

My other sister Sonia has 3 boys Joel 6, Malcolm 4 and Abraham 2 1/2.

I have met Joel and Malcolm before but I have never met Abraham. All the boys are about the same size. That is Sonia with her 3 boys.

On Wednesday I went into PaperDoll and had a Coffee with Wendy. It was great to see a friendly face.
I also found out that Leeanne is going to have a LO published in Scrapbook Creations Magazine in the project section. Well done Leeanne. You are also in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this hard time after loosing a good friend.

Yesterday a friend Meryl came over and she took my out for lunch. We went to mornington. We were then naughty and went into a scrapbook shop for some retail therapy. Meryl hadf also brought me some flowers. I mean lots, I filled 4 vases. I will post a picture of them next time.

Once again I would like to thank everyone that has either left a comment on my blog, sent me a personal email, friends and family. You have all helped me through this hard time. And to my wonderful hubby Rick and my darling daughters who have been my rock for the last 2 weeks, I wouldn't have been able to cope without all there support.

Then today I found out that I won a Sketch LO comp at 123scrapbook.

I will finish with this song that was played at my brother Mark's funeral.

Puff Daddy - I'll be missing you.

Take care, laugh often, live life

Mark Cvetkovic

Mark Cvetkovic
6th April 1984 - 1st September 2007

Mark was was out riding his bike last Friday night at 9:10pm, and a man in a Ute hit him. The Ute driver kept driving, but apparently 10mins later he came back to check if my brother had gotten up.

No he hadn't. He was unconscious and had a severe leg laceration and as we found out the main artery in that leg was severed, Mark lost alot of blood, but he also had internal injuries.

Mark was taken into surgery at 11pm on Friday night and had his spleen removed and other organs fixed. His liver had been torn very badly. The doctors thought that they would give Marks b0dy a rest from being operated on so they put him into an induced coma because they left him open for later. They also wanted to try and get Mark's liver to stop bleeding.

Now at 4:30am on Saturday the 1st Sept, we are hoping he is going to make it. But at a little before 5am my sister Sonia rang and told me that Mark had gone. He had lost to much blood.

My little brother aged 23 is no longer here. He died on the same day as our grandad did, and died about the time that I was born.

Mark aged 16 with Anabell

Mark aged 17 with Anabell

Mark was very protective over both the girls. I sometimes thought that he loved them like they were his own. He loved playing with them and never minded when they invaded his room.

Mark loved kids. I remember a time when he was real sad and said that he was scared that he wouldn't find the right girl to settle down with and have kids of his own, this was about when he was 20.

Mark was a beautiful person, caring and loving. I am so lucky to have had a brother like Mark, and I will miss him very much. Mark has always been the one person in my family I could talk to about anything and everything.

To everyone reading this post if you have made it all the way to here. I would like to thank everyone that has left a message on the last post and to those who have sent me emails.

I would also like to say a big thank you to my sister Sonia for ringing me and letting me know about my brother and keeping me informed the whole night. Otherwise I wouldn't have known until, I don't know when.

And also a big thank you to Rick's family for also caring.

I am going to Brisbane on Thursday, I'm not sure when the funeral is just yet as reports have to be done. And police are still investigating the accident.

My Little Brother

I found out at at about 9pm my little brother Mark has been in a motorbike accident. He was rushed to hospital with internal bleeding, he wasn't breathing on his own and head injury. He was then rushed to the PA hospital to have surgery. He was taken into surgery at 11pm and it is now 1am, and I still haven't had any news.

I remember when he was still a little baby and mum couldn't get him to sleep and I cradled him in my arms and he fell asleep. I use to feed him all the time. Mark and I have always been close. I use to watch Ninja Turtles with him and play He-man(he had all the figurines), cause no-one else would play with him. When he wanted to know what something was or what a word meant he would come to me.

When he was 14 mum couldn't handle him so she put him onto a bus and sent him down to me from Brisbane. He lived with Rick and I for about 6 months and then went back to Brisbane. This happened 3 times in 3 years. Mum would say it was my turn to deal with him.

We have had our fair share of screaming matches, but we both know at the end of the day we will always be there for each other. We have always been close. I love him heaps and I miss him and I want to be there for him through this.

He has to be OK. I can't lose my little brother, he doesn't mind me calling him that even though he is now 23.
