MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE........

I hope that everyone has a great Christmas.

Her is a couple of photos of the girls on Friday afternoon playing in the rain. They had a ball.

I decided to put Anabell's her in plaits las night. And the person that can guess how many I did or the closest, I will sent them a little something in the post. I will draw the winner on the 2nd Jan 2008.

Here is the Christmas stockings that I bought the girls. Doesn't it look so plain???

That is why I decided to cut out a heap of felt shapes, use a couple of buttons and cut out there names also with felt, and hand stitch them on. Nothing specuctular but the girls like them.

Lastly, Wendy last week gave me a 6 by 12 inch piece of chipboard and asked me to create something with it. I came up with a little mini album of random photos of the girls in 2007.

Apart from that I have just been getting ready for Christmas like everyone else.

That's all from me for the moment. Have a few more things that I need to get done by the end of that day.

Have a great Christmas and can't wait to catch up with everyone in the new year.

Take care and keep safe

Kris Kringle, Movies and more

Hi all,

Well I will firstly share a picture of my car bonnet. It still needs a couple more coats of clear and then it has to be buffed. It is sort of a magenta colour. The photo really doesn't do the colour any justice, but here it is anyway.

Hopefully I might not have so many near misses with people not seeing my car and nearly hitting me, when it is all finished.

Last week I nearly didn't have a car when I was stopped this person in a ford ute didn't slow down and it was lucky that there was a turning lane right where I had stopped (cause of traffic). He turned into that lane just in time and when he came to a stop his car was nearly in front of mine. All I could do was brace myself and Jasmine for the hit. Luckily it didn't happen.

********************************************************************

On Thursday, I went to coffee morning at PaperDoll Boutique (Wendy's). We had to hand make something small for the kriss kringle. I actually forgot to take a photo but I made 12 assorted gift cards, which Jenny got.

I received the most beautiful felt folder from Sharon. Now I need to make a book to put inside. Thanks Sharon, I love it.

I stayed until about 3pm again along with Jenny, so I really don't know we still call it coffee morning......lol.

**************************************************************************

Friday morning when I took the girls to school, I stayed there until about 1pm as we had our school Christmas Stall. I helped out a couple of other mums selling lots of little pressies to the kids that remembered to bring along some money. Lots of the note pads that I had decorated where sold.

When I came home I had to finish making my Kris Kringle for crop at Wendy's. I started making it in the morning before taking the girls to school.

I painted the frame (Splosh Paint) and used my Autumn Leaves stamps, Stickles, Kaiser Rhinestones, Kaiser wood flourish and flowers, Versa Magic Ink. I have also used my new H.S. wing stamp (on transparency), MM paper and C.S.

Connie received this frame.

I got this cute little swan made by Susan. How cute is it?

Crop night was great. It's great catching up with the girls. And I some how think that the girls think I have a stamp fetish. LOL Well I do have a few now.
******************************************************************************
Now up to Saturday.

Rick had to go into work so when he left the girls and I started to get ready to go out as we had free tickets to see Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium.
A friend Debbie had been given these tickets for 2 adults and 2 kids to see the movie at 10:15am. Santa was there and so was Mrs Clause, and elf, reindeer, and a few other characters. At the end of the movie Jasmine and Anabell was also given a balloon, lolly bag and a present each.
At about 8:30 Rick rang me to let me know that the boss hadn't organised the job so it was now postponed to next weekend. So that meant that if he came straight home again and get changed he could come to the movies with us.
The movie was great, we all loved it. After the movie we went and had some lunch.

Then.....we went for a drive to go and get my Christmas present. It's a
CUTTLE BUG.

But I'm not allowed to use it till xmas day. So I had to wrap it up. I also now have the Script, snowflake, swirl, stylized flowers, and the Happy Birthday embossing folders.

So I figured that since I wasn't aloud to have my Cuttlebug, Rick wasn't allowed to have his Xbox360. I wrapped it up and it went under the tree too.

Rick cooked dinner so I decided to get started on making my Christmas tags. I got this idea from the Kim Archer 2007 CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR.

*******************************************************************************
Sunday was a pretty quiet day. I did a bit of weeding, yuck, but it needed to be done.
Today, Monday, I went around to a few different schools. The girls are changing schools as, Overport is no longer the school to be at. I feel that things have changed, and not for the better. All the good teachers are leaving, so I think that, that says alot. I really don't want to post the nitty gritty but suffice to say Overport is no longer the best school around this area in my eyes. The girls are also looking forward to a new school, and making new friends.

Well I think that is all for the moment
Have a lovely week

I've Done It Again..........

Been a slack blogger that is.

I have lots of things to catch up on, and in no particular order.

1. My car has started her make over. Long time in the waiting. I chose a colour 3 years ago for my Torana, and the paint has been sitting in the shed since then. My new bonnet has now been painted and Rick is now doing the new boot lid. I will share pics as soon as I take some photos.

2. I have now done another 2 classes with Wendy. So here they are.

This is a LO of my nephew Tramain.

This is one I did today. How cute is this little tin. There are xmas tags also that we made to put in the tin. But I was chatting to much and didn't get them all done.

It was great today as I got to catch up with Connie at Paperdoll, haven't seen her for awhile.

3. I have been real sick. One of the days on the weekend I even lost my voice, tonsils were very inlarged, and felt real crap. I am feeling much better now and just have a stuffy nose.

4. I have been helping some other mums to get some stuff organised for our xmas stall at school, so last Friday I was at school till nearly 2pm covering and decorating note pads. I then on the weekend did another 12 more.

5. Rick and I picked up our oil painting that we had on layby yesterday. They are already up on the wall. This is what they look like.

6. Finally got the christmas tree up on Saturday. Not that I really had the energy to do it. But the girls really wanted it up. Normally I am really good and put it up on the 1st of December, not this year.

7. I finally got around to making some more christmas cards. I now have to write in them and post them off.

8. I also made these BG christmas baubles on the weekend.

9. I rearanged the house on the weekend and did lots of cleaning. Wow.........while typing this I really managed to get lots done on the weekend while not feeling the best. But I knew if I sat down I just probably would have slept all day.

10. the postie van arrived on Sunday morning and look what I got. Now I need some me time to use them. The new Heidi Swapp clear stamps.

11. Here is the ornaments I received from the other ladies from forever always ornament swap.

12. I have won 2 prizes on Kim Archers web site. Yeah, I will be stalking the postie. I will post a photo of them when they arrive.
13. Last night Jasmine and Anabell had there school Christmas Concert.

Anabell sung, Jingle Bell Rock and Away in a manger.

Jasmine sung, Deck the shed with bits of wattle and Silent night

Well I might leave this post here. If you made it the bottom very well done.

Take Care all
Until next time

Slack, Slack Blogger...........

Gee.........it's been nearly 2 weeks since I last blogged.

News:

Paperdoll Boutique is closing *Sob Sob* (the shop).

I love going to visit Wendy and having our chats. That is what I am going to miss the most, just popping in. I am so glad that coffee morning is going to keep going for a little longer. I sometimes think it is my second home, I have opened up so much since going in there.
My scrapping has changed so much, as I was still using lots of CM when I started going to Paperdoll. I have also met some great ladies there too.

Wendy, your warmth, kindness and friendships are what makes the shop.

*******************************************************
On Monday, The girls and I met up with a few other mums at Cadbury's. We all went in and spent to much money on chocolate.
******************************************************
On Tuesday, I went into Paperdoll and did my very first class ever. I have never had enough confidence, to sit in a class and do scrapping. I have had negative feedback from people before, so I figured that if I didn't do any scrapping in front of anyone then I was safe from it. I still look at my stuff and think it isn't good enough, but I think most scrappers feel like that about there own LO's.
So here is the LO I did:

***************************************************************

Here are a few more LO's that I have done lately.

***************************************************

I was in a Christmas Ornaments Swap on Forever Always. I made 4 of these stars, and I used my new AL Christmas Stamp.

************************************************************

I have also made this Exploding Box for friends. I didn't want to make just a wedding card. So I decided on an exploding box that I have filled with love quotes. I still have to put there names on top of the Box, but apart from that it is finished. I have also made the 2 tier cake in the middle of the box with cardstock.

**************************************************
Well........ that is all for the moment. If I think of anything else that I haven't put in I will do next time. I will try and not wait another 2 weeks till I blog again. But I won't promise. hehe
Have a lovely weekend.

Only 1 LO to share

Well update about the Forever Always Last Scrapper Standing Comp. I bummed out last week, so I am no longer in the running. It was fun while it lasted though. I have decided to do the last 2 weeks of the comp for the fun gallery.

So for week #7 we had to do a Christmas LO with a minimum of 8 photos.

So here is mine.

Products Used: Daisyd's pp, H.S. Glitter Flowers and other flowers, MM - Decorative Brads and buckle, Daisyd's Rub-ons, Ink, D.M., Collections Elements Brackets, Ribbon, Brown Sugar Designs - Paper Clip, Prima Marketing - Clear Stamp.

I have used foam tape to raise the middle picture as it is the mess.....wrapping paper and presents all over the lounge room floor photo.

*********************************

Anabell did the Bracks Reading Challenge, and she had to read 30 books from there book selection. Anabell's reading is grade 4 and she is still only in grade 2. So she was reading the Grade 4 books, and I decided to contact the reading challenge to find out if Anabell had to only read 15 books because that is how many you read in grade 4 (as the books are harder and bigger). They did get back to me and said that Anabell still had to read 30 as she wasn't in grade 4. But she got there and managed to finish reading the 30 books. So this is the certificate she received for her troubles.

****************************************

On Friday I went up to school to help bake lots of scones for the school reunion afternoon tea. I didn't take my camera so there are no pics.

Saturday I went to Wendy's and had a cuppa, I also had to get some transparency for the LO that I am doing at the moment. I then rang around to find out about a new Printer. I ended up getting a HP photosmart All-in-one printer, scanner.

I also went up to Overport to help out with the Devanshire tea and scones with fresh cream and jam. Yum.

******************************************

Today, Sunday I managed to get Jasmine and Anabell to clean there room........YEAH.

Anabell has also lost 2 teeth this week as well. 1 a couple of days ago and the other today.

I think that is all for the moment.
Take care
